The experts behind Li Pigments have joined forces with some of the biggest names in the permanent makeup world to bring you 3 unique pigment collections, and we’re going to provide you with an overview that will explain why these are a must-have in any artist’s kit!

Working closely with the chemists at Li, these 3 PMU artists have combined their years of experience and expertise in the industry to develop their own signature pigments. These pigments have been designed to work perfectly with their signature techniques and to meet the demands of brow and eyeliner artists all over the globe.


Monica Ivani


Monica Ivani is an international artist and trainer, a global PMU speaker and one of the biggest technicians in the industry today.

Known for her world-famous machine hair strokes, Monica worked closely with chemists at Li Pigments and tested this formula for over a year to bring you the finished product: the Monica Ivani Signature Series.

"After many years of mixing colours, I have finally formulated what I feel are the 4 ideal shades for eyebrows. My main goal is to help every technician become the artist they aspire to be by creating these pre-modified, ready to use colours".

You will have probably come across this pigment set on a previous blog or on our social media as we are constantly recommending them to beginners due to their inorganic formula (perfect for natural results and quicker fading).



Shades include:

  • Electric Blonde – a dark blonde shade with a neutral green/yellow base. Works well with a neutral to cool skin tone with pink undertones and light to dark blonde or red hair. Mix with Faux Brown or Absolute Brown to darken.
  • Faux Brown - a light brown colour with a neutral yellow base. Suitable for clients with dark blonde to medium brunette hair colour and heals cooler in the skin than it appears initially. Great for super-soft, understated results – can be darkened with Absolute Brown or Dark Heart.
  • Absolute Brown – a medium brown shade, with a neutral yellow and green base. Perfect for brunette clients with light, medium or dark hair, this is a hugely popular shade and Monica’s personal favourite. Can be mixed with Dark Heart to darken.
  • Dark Heart – the darkest brown in the collection, with a brown/black base. Perfect for clients with dark brunette/black hair or naturally dark brow hairs, can be mixed with Electric Blonde or Faux Brown to lighten.


Jenn Boyd


Another world-famous artist who has worked with Li to develop a signature series collection is Jenn Boyd, owner of Jenn Boyd Ink and the brains behind the best-selling Brow Slayer microblades.

When designing and testing these pigments, Jenn’s aim was to create the colours and formulations she has always dreamed of working with.

“Knowing the struggles of the working PMU Artist performing different procedures on various skin tones and experiencing different pigment lines over the years, has given me an extensive insight to what we need. I think we nailed it! The 4 unique colors are slightly pre-modified but will not produce an overly warm effect. You may still feel the need to modify for certain skin tones.”

Three of the shades in the collection are hybrid pigments: a combination of organic and inorganic ingredients, similar to the Li Pigments Aqua collection. The fourth shade (Killer Brunette) is still a hybrid formulation, but has been created with iron oxide and has a formulation similar to the Loaded pigments by the same brand.

Suitable for both microblading and machine methods, these pigments are the perfect companions for Jenn’s Brow Slayer range. The hybrid formula of the pigments helps create soft and natural results with longer-lasting power, ideal for artists who want that higher level of retention without the risk of over-saturation.



Shades include:

  • Dirty Blonde – a neutral dark blonde/light brown shade, suitable for lighter skin tones and light blonde to light brunette hair.
  • Killer Brunette – a universal medium brown, suitable for light to medium skin tones and light to medium brunette hair. As mentioned above, this pigment has an iron oxide base.
  • Midnight Sun – a true dark brown, suitable for light to medium skin tones and medium to dark brunette hair.
  • Raven – the darkest shade in the collection, a brown/black that heals almost black in the skin. Suitable for medium to dark skin tones, dark brunette/black hair, or clients with naturally dark brow hairs.




Will Anthony


For eyeliner, Li Pigments have collaborated with the biggest permanent eyeliner artist in the world, Will Anthony. As creator of the The Smoky Lash Enhancement®, Will has worked closely with the chemists at Li to produce the quintessential eyeliner pigment set that produces show-stopping results not only with his signature technique but with any eyeliner style.

Like the Jenn Boyd collection, the Will Anthony Signature Series is also a hybrid set containing both organic carbon and inorganic iron oxide-based pigments, as well as one hybrid shade - Black Cocktail.



Shades include:

  • London Fog – a grey-toned black shade, can be used alone, underneath Secret Black, or over Black Cocktail.
  • Black Cocktail – an organic carbon base mixed with iron oxide, with an orange/red base for clients with blue undertones in the eye area. As it is pre-modified, this shade can be used alone or is a perfect base to layer underneath any of the other 3 shades.
  • Secret Black – a traditional organic, carbon black eyeliner shade. Can be used neat but will heal to a truer black when layered on top of Black Cocktail or London Fog. Recommended for use by highly skilled and experienced technicians only!
  • Black Moss – a green based black eyeliner shade, suitable for lighter skinned clients and designed to neutralise any red undertones in the eye area. Can be layered over any of the 3 other colours to create a beautiful green hue, where desired.
