Unisex Lip Blush Pigments
Permanent make-up lip blush has always been a popular treatment for women looking to get the effects of lip gloss or lipstick without having to apply makeup daily!
But now, more and more men are realising the benefits of this treatment for adding shape, colour and definition to their lips – with a natural, healed result that doesn’t need to look exactly like ‘makeup’.
Why get a lip treatment?
Aside from the everyday lipstick look, lip treatments serve a number of purposes, including correcting asymmetry, defining the contours of the lip, and adding subtle pigments to balance the lip tones and make them appear healthier and fuller.
Your male clients may want to cover or disguise scarring, dark lip tones, or just the natural age-related thinning that occurs. With a good knowledge of colour theory, you can transform your male clients’ lips subtly so that no one will ever know they’ve had a treatment!
What lip pigments are unisex?
While most of our pigments for lips are designed for lipstick effects, we also offer a few selections of more subtle lip pigments, suitable for all genders!
The Evenflo True Lips set was one of the first to contain natural-finish pink and mauve tones that look perfectly natural on anyone. This was the world’s first machine-optimised pigment formulation, made for maximum flow and retention, and with five natural colours this set can be used on virtually anyone!
The Embody and Enhance sets from Carla Ricciardone and Perma Blend LUXE are another invaluable tool for lip treatments on all genders and skin tones. The Embody set works to neutralise dark lip tones with a selection of colours from cool and dark to warm. Based on the scientific principles of colour theory, the Embody set is designed for incredible long-lasting results.
Enhance is slightly different as it’s designed to be used after Embody (if neutralisation is required), or it can be used alone for lipblush looks. Suitable for all skin tones and colour preferences, even including a dark brown to lower the colour value of your other pigments, these can all be used neat, mixed together, or mixed with pigments from the Embody set.
If you’re not already advertising your lip treatments to clients of all genders, why not? Advances in pigmentology mean that you can now welcome a huge variety of clients through your door and provide them with an undetectable, healed result that is both flattering and suits everybody!
